Lately i've been busy with college projects and things. Just finished one on the social space of the city where i focused on working migrant women. It was successful, i was lucky with the people i met they were very helpful and interested in what i was doing.

Now im doing the physical space. I chose to focus on the bandstands of Dublin. I found it really difficult to find any historical pictures of bandstands or even any discriptions or lists of them around Dublin. I did some more digging and asking and i found a few. Some more obvious than others ; Phoenix Park, Stephens Green Park, Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, Dalkey, Bray (Wicklow, not Dublin) and Lusk.

I went to the photographic archives to find some pictures, i came across one in Dalkey and visited it today. The difference was outstanding. I was completely amazed at the differences. So now i've become really interestded in the bandstands around Dublin.

Thats what i've been up to anyway..
